Jaqua Buttercream Frosting Sinfully Rich Body Butter

Can you imagine growing up in a home where your mother didn’t allow any sugary treats? And what about never having the experience of licking the frosting off of the beaters when your mom was done icing a cake? Sounds positively dreadful, doesn’t it?! Thankfully, that wasn’t my childhood, but it was the way that the Jaqua sisters were brought up in their modest home in Santa Barbara. They took their drive for the creamiest and most decadent sweets and turned it - years later - into an incredibly successful line of skin and beauty products. Would they have done so if their mother had indulged them daily? Who knows!!!

I was on a LUSH shopping spree. I had never seen a "bar of soap" (aka shampoo in soap form) actually clean hair - without stripping the heck out of it. I was game to try something new. I also thought that if I liked it - it would be ideal for airline travel.

To keep lips glossy and moist, you could sweep your lips with a special clear concoction. No matter what you did - drink, eat, kiss - your lips would stay just as perfect as they were the first moment you applied your lip color. Read More

DiorShow Mascara

When an experienced gal is on the prowl for a new mascara, it's not to address the basics - i.e. color, clumping, lasting effects. No, it's to address a specific need. For me, I was on the hunt for a special mascara - one which would be seen as an extension of my vivacious personality. I wanted a mascara that screamed Here I am! Aren't I something else? Can you stand to be in my presence?! Read More

Relacore® PM

Relacore® PM, a new product from the Carter-Reed company, is a night-time version of the original Relacore product. Remember - Relacore's purpose in life is to reduce stress-induced cortisol production by helping to minimize stress. The breaking of this chain-reaction allows you to lose weight. The difference between both products? The company claims that the formulas are identical with the exception on one proprietary blend. That blend is an extra boost of anti-anxiety mood enhancer which helps take the edge off before bedtime. Read More
